The Chase Begins

Realizing the danger, Nimble bolted across the meadow with the snake close behind. The predator was swift, but Nimble had agility on his side. He leaped over rocks and twisted through bushes, trying to put distance between them.

A Clever Plan

As Nimble darted into the forest, he saw an opportunity. Using his knowledge of the terrain, he dashed toward an abandoned fox burrow. But there was a twist—the burrow had two exits. Nimble dived into one entrance, with the snake following him. Moments later, he shot out the other side, leaving the snake confused and stuck in the narrow tunnel.

Out of the Frying Pan

However, Nimble’s escape was short-lived. As he emerged from the burrow, he found himself face-to-face with a hawk circling above. Now, he had two predators to worry about!

The Final Showdown

Thinking quickly, Nimble performed an acrobatic series of high jumps, confusing the hawk while staying ahead of the snake. Spotting a patch of tall grass nearby, he made a daring dash for it, zigzagging to avoid the hawk’s claws.

At last, Nimble reached a dense thicket where neither the snake nor the hawk could follow. Safe but shaken, he caught his breath and marveled at how his quick thinking and agility had saved his life. That day, Nimble proved that even the smallest creatures could outwit the most fearsome predators.
